We were leaving on a trip and stayed because we were close to the airport. The accommodations were nice. The restaurant was very loud with people talking loudly in the bar. The spaghetti dinner I received was not good at all. Very bland and spaghetti overcooked. They did give me something else and it was okay.
Great place to stay, good restaurant, good coffee bar and front desk is excellent.
One of my favorite places in LA for both hotel stay and drinking. The rooms are beautiful, the service is spot on and friendly, and the entire atmosphere is gorgeous. Photos of artist who use their recording studios, guitar memorabilia, a lovely coy pond and dinning area. One of the most private hotels in the area with lots of security, so when theirs special guests staying there, expect uncomfortable loitering of security and to be ID checked and asked for your room key every time you turn a corner. My younger cousin was given a very cute gift package for her birthday when we mentioned it in our reservation! Their potato chips and dip at the restaurant are to die for and the specialty cocktails at VUE Bar are some of the best in town!
Having a restaurant is really nice being that most holiday inns don't have restaurants. Also parking is great lots of parking spaces. Nice room and friendly staff.
I chose this hotel because they offered a park and cruise package. I left my car for five nights with no concerns about it’s safty. The shuttle service to and from the port was quick and convenient. I was also impressed with the comfort of the bed. The breakfast buffet was ok, but I’ve had better. Last, the staff that I interacted with were kind and helpful. I would stay here again!
Treated us well. Great service at front desk and in restaurant.
Everything about the stay was very positive. Visiting my daughter at Long Beach State and the hotel was a very short distance to there and the beach area. Plenty of places nearby to eat or get groceries if needed. Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant at the top of the hotel that had a great view, and the food was good at a very reasonable price. Staff was very pleasant and help full. And the comfort of the mattress was very appreciated. It was well worth the extra money to stay at a quality hotel over the less expensive choices.
Decided to get away for a quick weekend. the staff was great. Loved the bar/lounge. The live music there was awesome as were the drinks. Had a wonderful time and will definitely go back, as it only minutes from out house and a great quick getaway.
This was a good value versus the pricier properties near the convention center. Although my room faced the airport there wasn't any noise that would disrupt a good nights sleep. The property is nicely remodeled, has a small cafe that sells Peet's coffee (Yes!) as well as a self-serve snack area for early/late hours. Everyone was courteous and the room was modern and clean. I visited the VUE bar one evening for dinner and was warmly greeted and attended to; very handy for not having to go anywhere else at end of a long day. My only gripe was the parking charge. I don't see how that ensures that guests have space to park because it would not change the number of guest vehicles. Gas station next door; very handy.
This hotel has been a landmark for the Long Beach. It is a beautiful building on the outside and and an interesting and well decorated building on the inside. Holiday Inn has done a great job in keeping this property up to date. Although the location is next to the highway, you could tell it. The room is quite comfortable and very quiet. Customer service is outstanding and your are recognized and rewarded as a guest. I most definitely will go back on my next visit to Southern California.
We traveled to Long Beach for my husband's 50th high school reunion and stayed at the Holiday Inn Long Beach Airport (where I stayed the night before our wedding 45 years ago). The hotel has recently been remodeled and it is beautiful; the rooms are great and very quiet even though the hotel is so close to the airport. It is conveniently located to many attractions in the area and I would stay there again if I am ever in the vicinity.
The staff who checked us into our room was so friendly and accommodating! We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again and refer others to do the same.”
